ICaune is offering a brand-new compact surface mount GNSS module called ultradraconAv. This state-of-the-art solution is designed to increase trustworthiness in Position Navigation and Timing information. The ICaune module is designed to detect GNSS spoofing and jamming events and mitigate these effects.

The module is a multiband multi-constellation positioning GNSS receiver. It supports a broad range of frequency bands:

GPS: L1 C/A, L2C, L5
Galileo: E1, E5a, E5b, E6
QZSS: L1 C/A, L2C, L5
GLONASS: L1OF, L2OF
BeiDou: B1I, B2a, B2I
Navic: L5

Additionally, it supports augmentation systems such as SBAS WAAS (United States), EGNOS (Europe), MSAS (Japan and Southeast Asia), and GAGAN (India).

The ultradraconAv module supports also:

The Galileo OSNMA (Open Service Navigation Message Authentication) service which adds a security layer by authenticating navigation message.
The Galileo EWSS (Early Warning Satellite Service) and SAR (Search and Rescue) RLM (Return Link Message) service.

It integrates an embedded 6-axis gyrometer and accelerometer. When inconsistencies or anomalies are detected, the module warns the application and switches to dead reckoning navigation, delivering an estimate of the true position.

Compact GNSS Module with Versatile Interfaces for Enhanced Functionality

The module, with dimensions of 22.5 x 24 x 3.6 mm, is allowing firmware upgrades and specific configuration options, ensuring adaptability to various applications. It incorporates a multi-constellation GNSS chipset (TESEO V) within a single casing and offers a wide range of interfaces, including CAN bus, UARTs, I2C, SPI and GPIO.

These interfaces enable the addition of peripherals such as MEMS sensors, EEPROMs, or other compatible components to enhance functionality based on application requirements.

GNSS Spoofing and Jamming attacks detection.

The module implements algorithms that monitor GNSS signals and navigation parameters, allowing the detection of anomalies. The module is engineered to detect various attack types.

Upon identifying an inconsistency or anomaly, the application is notified, and the module transitions to dead reckoning navigation, providing an estimated true position along with details about the nature of the disruption.

Protected against Cyber Attack.

ultradraconAv is protected against cyber-attack and could deliver authenticated or ciphered information to the application. Moreover, all sensitive data are securely stored into the module.
